To kickoff NYFW, Calvin Klein and Dazed Magazine collaborated on a Bushwick rave, in celebration of the Dazed 100. Held in a raw, exposed brick warehouse, the space was designed in collaboration with Creative Director Nate Brown who was inspired by the renowned Berlin nightclub, Berghain. The space also featured dynamic lighting design by light and conceptual designer, Tobias Rylander
Over 1000 attendees flocked to witness live headline performances by rising stars and Dazed 100 talent, singer Kelela and producer/DJ Arca.
Taking cues from the gritty environs, subtle elements were strategically integrated into the space such as wildposting wall that allowed guests to create their own “I____in #mycalvins” statements. A prominently displayed neon sign proclaimed “I DAZED in #mycalvins” paying homage to the newly launched Spring ‘16 global campaign as well as the Dazed partnership, while a triptych of projections displayed videos and photographs featuring Dazed 100 individuals
